Testimonies after reading Book Growing Up Allen!

After reading your book, I have a sub-title for you - Growing Up Allen - "It's All About Attitude." Some of the situations your family found themselves in, one would have to have had a great sense of humor and a very good attitude to survive. Some of those situations would have been, for most, their demise!!

There was one story I particularly enjoyed. It was your recollection of the trip to California without air conditioning and the devises your dad purchased in lieu of air conditioning. I laughed so hard that it probably took me 15 minutes to get through one paragraph. The tears would blur my eyes to where I could not see. When I thought I had gained my composure, I would dry my eyes, clean my glasses, and try again, only to burst out in uncontrollable laughter again before I could get the next to words read. I would then have to start the entire process again of drying my eyes and cleaning my glasses. The image of all of you loaded in the car, the suffocating heat, and mud and bugs being expelled in to the car through the vents was hysterical.

Thank you for your book. I learned so much about your mom and dad that I did not know, which gave me an even greater appreciation for their ministry.

I always loved and appreciated Miracle Valley, but I had no idea of the sacrifices your family went through to afford me that opportunity.

I received in the mail this week, "In The Shadow of Greatness. I could not put down the great work you have placed in book form. The story of Bro. Allen, you growing up, the great ministry under the Gospel tent brought me to tears. This work was well worth the wait. I hope you can place this book in every hand, for you have taken me on a journey through time that has inspired my soul to minister with passion to reach the lost. Every saint, minister or even the lost should read this book. Thanks Bro. Paul for a work will done.

I just want to give a Testimony,,,, I just recently purchased some videos of Bro. A.A.Allen..... Well I am 31 yrs old & I have had Back problems ever since I was about 7 yrs old ,, always in pain.... well I was watching these videos & at the end of each video Bro. Allen would pray for everyone that was watching the program by television & he said to place your hand on your body where you hurt & I asked my Mom since this video was old if someone could still get a healing & she said yes,,,, so i did as he said , I put my hand on my back & prayed as he prayed & i forgot about it well the next day I did lots of work without stopping or even taking a break & later that night my mom came over my house & seen all the work i did & then that's when it hit me I WAS HEALED ,,, & that was May 2003 & its Dec. 2003 & still don't have any pain at all,,,, I Thank God for the Healing & I Thank God for Bro. A.A.Allen for making those videos & for letting God use him in a great way.. We need more preachers like him,,, Tammy Davidson

	Awesome tapes I never have seen these type of miracles. I'm glad that God used them to bring me deliverance in my life and what a blessing it has been! William Smith

	Debbie & Rod I just wonder if you know how important the distribution of these is - our church had a revival, very definitely the main catalyst I attribute to the repeated viewing of a 3-meeting A A Allen video. After about two years of sustained intercession and regularly weekly fasting for a move of God we had: people going into strange trance-like states for periods between 1-3 hours (I know some people fake stuff, but the pastor informed me that even when everyone had left, they remained in the same state for 1-2 hours; this involved some very shy personalities, not at all extrovert) We formed a street outreach team; 2 of our team stopped a fight one night - the next Sunday we had about 15-20 of these street kids "invade" our church - no one had gone to see them or picked them up - they had all walked, some for 1-2 miles away, by themselves. They all (ie all !!!) immediately went up as soon as the altar call was given - and they got "hit" - having visions of Jesus, speaking in tongues, etc.. One of the ladies in the intercession team was about 77 years old - a really lovely wonderful person, but very gentle, tiny, quite quiet, even slightly frail. She wanted to come on the street team, but had no idea what she could do. So the team prayed, and she came and stood alongside us holding tracts. (She was too shy to approach anyone). A bunch of drunks came along, one of them particularly talking very loudly, walking in a stumbling manner, slurring his words markedly. He got to where this 77 year old was - and he just stood still, shut up and stared at her for about a minute and a half. (She never said a word, in fact she was probably a bit terrified !) Then he spoke, very soberly, saying things like "Lady you really make me feel convicted" "What you are doing is really good" "I want to give you some money to support you in what you do" and he preceded to open his wallet and offer her $20 notes. He thanked her profusely over and over. I could tell of many other miracles and amazing things, but I would wish to summarise what those videos meant: (1) They were a sort of inspiriation/commendation that yes, it is possible to have revival in the 20th Century; (2) We seemed to imbibe the spirit of intercession, outreach, joy and love from them - not just for the lost, but for all in the church also (3) Very defintely a healing anointing was also imbibed, and great confidence in this area During that period (about 4 years), no one in our church died - including some people going for serious operations, cancer and heart trouble. One very brave young maori girl was pregnant with a baby that repeated scans had revealed as spina bifida (5 separate scans during her pregnancy). The doctors wanted to abort, but no way was she accepting that. That baby was born completely healthy. I 'm very grateful Paul Allen - I would like to give him my very sincere thanks for your father's work and putting on the Web! Richard Baxter My Daughter was on 14 different medicines for 17 years. The Doctors could not cure her. I ordered some Allen Materials and talked with Pastor Pryor and asked for a prayer cloth. When I received the prayer cloth my Daughter took it and she was completely healed and the doctor has taken her off all her medicine it is truly a Miracle. God is in the healing business still and is using this site to reach others with the power of God! Thank You God for the Allen Family and Friends! The sermons reminded me of how great the preaching was and how much Allen delt with sin, healing and deliverance. Look forward to more DVD's and Cd's. Thomas Gowain This site is a God sent. I finally found the real deal someone who is loves Allen like I did. Rev. Pryor picked out the DVD for me and it was the one I needed. 	Dear Paul: In The Shadow of Greatness is wonderful book. I was inspired over and over by your stories of "growing up Allen". I understand now why it was important for you to write this book. Thank you so much for letting me read it fresh off the press. Take care, Kathy
